Infrared wildlife surveys  --   We are now scheduling winter aerial infrared wildlife surveys. Winter is the best time of the year to get accurate deer counts and aerial infrared surveys are the fastest, most accurate, and most cost effective way to get counts in large areas. When the leaves come off the trees and the air gets cold, the deer show up like bright lights on our infrared camera.

If you're really sharp, you might see one - right in the middle of the frame. Click "Next" to see the IR image and watch FOUR deer "magically" appear. The third image points out the deer. Aerial Infrared Wildlife Surveys  --   Winter is the perfect time (and in most cases, the only time...) for cities, counties, developers, etc. to get accurate deer and game counts.

The most accurate method for obtaining deer counts is via aerial infrared scanning when the trees are free from leaves and the air is cold.

Above All - Ohio is one of only a few companies in the United States that is capable of performing this service 100% in-house. We have all of the right equipment and personnel to perform this type of job without the need to subcontract out any part of it. This can mean significant financial savings if you need this service.

Affordable services and discounts  --   We offer discounts on follow-up visits to sites that we have photographed and/or scanned with our infrared camera. As long as your account is in good standing, you will be elgible for the discount on all return visits to the same site. This allows you to document the progress of the repairs and verify that they were done correctly. Please let us know when you call if you will be needing multiple visits. We will work with you to ensure you get the best service and value.

We can scan your home, office, or other commercial building to find hidden problems such as energy-wasting insulation deficiencies and areas where moisture may be infiltrating causing damage and health issues (mold thrives in wet walls!).

Winter Aerials  --   The leaves are gone, and the snow comes and goes in varying degrees of coverage this time of year. However, we still fly when needed as some of our customers simply can not wait until things green up to get their photos.

Above All - Ohio is a full-time, year-round aerial and specialty photography provider. Rest assured that we will be able to get your job done in a timely, professional manner (as long as mother nature lets us fly, at least!).

As previously noted, the winter weather patterns here in northern Ohio can keep us grounded for long stretches - 10 or more days of unflyable weather in a row are not uncommon. The number of nice days available for both aerial and ground-based architectural photos drops sharply in the winter months.

As always, we urge you to plan ahead and give us as much notice as possible so we can be sure to get your photos on the nicest possible day. Contact us by whatever means is most convenient for you to get on our schedule!


Bare ground photos  --   One good thing about winter is that the trees are bare so we can see more of the ground in our aerial photos. Sometimes, a light dusting of snow brings out more detail in the ground (you can see an example of this in this photo in our 2013 "Stock Photo of the Week" gallery.

If you have the need to see ground features that are normally obscured by trees, be sure to let us know. Give us a call to discuss the details - there is no charge or obligation for a "consulation" over the phone!

Unfortuantely, we know that you can't always plan as far ahead as you'd like to. In those cases, rest assured that we will do everything we can to help! Since we own our own plane, we can respond quickly to your needs - in some cases, we can take an order in the morning and deliver photos in the afternoon!

Reminder  --   All of the photos on our web site are reduced in size (drastically reduced in size...) and compressed for faster loading in your web browser. The photos we deliver to clients are much bigger and sharper than the ones you see online. The images we deliver do not have our name, copyright notices, or watermarks on them.
